Will I feel “hungover” the next morning?
Most people do not feel drowsy or “hungover” the next day after taking Doral, however this can occur. Do not drive or do other dangerous activities until you feel fully awake.
What are the side effects of Doral?
The two most common side effects are daytime drowsiness and headache. Other side effects include fatigue, dizziness, dry mouth, and upset stomach.
Can I drive a car while I am taking Doral?
Until you experience the medication’s effect on you, you should not drive a car or operate any potentially dangerous machinery after taking Doral.
Are there medications I should not take while I am using Doral?
Discuss all medications you are currently taking with your doctor (including medications you buy over the counter). You should not drink alcohol while taking Doral. Unless instructed by your doctor, you should not use other sleep medications or medications that are in the benzodiazepine class of drugs while taking Doral.
Can I increase my dose of Doral?
Do not increase or change your dose of Doral unless directed to do so by your doctor.
I’m sleeping much better now—should I stop taking Doral?
You should not abruptly stop taking your medication or decrease your dosage without first speaking with your physician.
Can I take Doral if I am pregnant?
You should not use Doral if you are pregnant. Speak with your doctor if you are currently taking Doral and you are planning to become pregnant.
